I think windEnergy has one of the best designs out there for the home owner. They have certainly done a tremendous amount of front end work to support folks who have an interest of doing something with energy. I like the idea that wind/or solar is do able with their system. Grid or hybrid. I personally like the idea of reducing a bill and keeping a utility. Why sell back to the utility at wholesale prices, enjoy the benefit yourself.

Unlike most ideas I have seen here, this system is real, practical, in production, and has been installed many, many times. You can't argue with success. and you can't make a better investment than in something that is already proven.

This is such an awesome idea, and me and some friends are using it as a model to install our very own turbines in the woods here in the Klamuth National Forest in Oregon. In fact, since Portland is such a 'green' city, we may approach area Portland electricians and other contractors to see if they'd be willing to donate time or lend a hand with some assistance and planning. I am pretty optimistic that we'll also get the help from university students and hippies in area too! Thanks for the motivation and reminder as to what's important!

Your time is here. I see it as plain as day. How about GE RoofMill™? Let me say it here! Lynda Lyday wants to be your spokesperson! I see the commercial now...my tool's battery being charged by your wind turbines! Oh wait, let's shoot it for Christmas and then my Holiday lights can be lit up by your turbine too! ;-)

My name is Brett Krippene, and I am the inventor of WINDGRABBER wind turbine systems [ http://challenge.ecomagination.com/ct/ct_profile.bix?c=home ]. I would like to talk to you about using your roofmill system as is in a vertical axis configuration with my HEXAGANOL Sided, One Way Flow Enclosure Cube type wind turbine system.
Open propellers are difficult to permit in our area, which is why I came up with WINDGRABBER. Using your roofmill hardware and systems, the WINDGRABBER wind turbine system would be ready for commercial sales and operation and we could start marketing the idea in my area immediately!
Please contact me at brettkrippene@att.net, or phone 928-592-9483 ,, as I really feel this could really be a very good fit for both of us!
And yes, I would be willing to buy a system in about the 1 to 2 kWe size range (@ 28 mph prevailing wind velocity) to help make it happen! Please visit my GE web site to learn more about WINDGRABBER!
Thanks!
