Hi,
Your idea, "Photovoltaic sun tracking made 100% automatic", is a welcome addition to the GE Ecomagination Challenge. Hopefully it can be done in a cost-effective way.
In the spirit of the Challenge, we trust that our vote will contribute to your idea moving forward.
Our specialty is in finding and facilitating breakthrough clean energy technologies, with emphasis on reviewing extreme cutting edge ideas that might be overlooked by others because they seem unbelievable or impossible.
We invite you to add your renewable technology to our directory at http://PESWiki.com, the "Wikipedia of Free Energy", either as a bullet item on the relevant topical page, or as a new feature page. The "help" link can give you guidance if you're not familiar with the wikipedia markup.
To us, "free energy" does not imply any violation of conservation of energy, but is merely a reference to the fact that the source of energy is free for the taking and ideally inexhaustible from nature. On the conventional end of the spectrum, we include solar, wind, geothermal, tide, wave, and river technologies as "free energy." On the unconventional end of the spectrum, we see great promise in the areas of electromagnetic overunity, cold fusion, magnet motors, zero point energy, water fuel, among others. It is the latter – the "exotic" modalities – that we have made our specialty in reporting and facilitating. The conventional modalities have plenty of advocates, while the later often languish.
Historically, some of the most amazing breakthroughs have not come from the status quo establishment, but have come from mavericks who think "outside the box". Unfortunately, in the region of "outside the box" is also found a lot of bogus and fraudulent claims that make finding the true gem much more difficult.
The reason the New Energy Congress was founded in November of 2005 was to provide a screening service to help review and identify the most promising technologies, both conventional and non-conventional. In the past year, we have realized that our true strength is in the "exotic" realm where few others dare tread. Once NEC validation has been achieved, then the probability of qualified capital and business interests getting involved in the technology is greatly enhanced.
