Welcome to the next video in which I described the application of my invention.
In preparing the condensed version of the video.
Work on starting the engine continues ...

In your math model, consider the wind tunnel effect from locating the turbine between 2 well placed and engineered buildings. Velocities are much higher between two tall buildings. The other missing element is staging 3,4, or 5 blades to act like a gas turbine. Modeling is needed again. My children's grandfather was Gilbert Helms of Alplause NY

Hi Steven,
16th November 2010.
“Achieving change is going to take imagination, big thinking and a radical shift in the way cities operate.
One important aspect will be making best use of the many new and emerging technologies that are available.
There needs to be more ‘big thinking’ on how cities structure projects and the procurement process to maximise the potential of these technologies.”

All our Best Wishes

Congratulations on your high placement in the GE Ecomagination Challenge. Like your concept, the Skylight PP-CPV from Clean Legacy and prolific Inventor John L. Coulson also finished respectably in the Challenge. For all of us at Clean Legacy and I suspect for many of our fellow Challengers, this experience is now paying off in ways we only imagined. Thanks GE! Hits on our website @ www.webstarts.com/IamInventor and emails to IamInventing@gmail.com with requests for more info and offers to join our project have been exceptional since joining the Challenge. We hope to see you in November or perhaps sooner. If we can be of any assistance to you and your project please do not hesitate to drop us an email. Best regards and success to you all! Cheers! - JLC - Founder/Inventor - The Clean Legacy Group - IamInventing@gmail.com

As JPods networks, solar-powered urban transport, deploy we will need many products and services. If your ideas can be applied to these networks please contact me. "Many hands make light work." Bill James

CONGRATULATIONS FOR BEING INCLUDED IN GE’ TOP 100 IDEAS!

OUR SMALL AND HUMBLE SCIENCE AND RESEARCH GROUP IN THE PHILIPPINES IS HONORED AND INSPIRED ALSO FOR BEING CONSIDERED AS ONE OF THE TOP 100 IDEAS GE’S CHOICED!
OUR GROUP ARE CONTINOUSLY INVENTING MACHINES/DEVICES THAT WILL SOLVE GLOBAL ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS.
THE 1071/1072 APPARATUS IS ONE OF OUR SHARE IN PROVIDING SOLUTIONS TO SOLAR AND WIND PROBLEMS!
THIS APPARATUS IS FUELED BY SEA WATER ONLY CONVERTING IT TO TORCH FLAMES AND BLASTINGS WITHOUT PASSING THE PRINCIPLES OF ELECTROLYSIS! THERE ARE MANY APPLICATIONS OF THIS APPARATUS ONCE FULLY DEVELOPED AND MODIFIED INTO THE HIGHEST STANDARDS SPECIFICATIONS, SAFETY AND QUALITY!
WITH OUR INNOVATIONS IN THE HEATING TECHNOLOGY,
WE HAVE COME UP WITH FINISHED PROTOTYPES LIKE:
FLAT IRON USING ONLY 400 or 200 WATTS WITH THE SAME HEAT CAPACITY AS THAT OF THE STANDARD 1000 watts BRANDED FLAT IRON; (60 to 80% POWER SAVE)
BAINE MARIE FOOD WARMING EQUIPMENT THAT USES ONLY 150 WATTS PER TRAY AND WITHOUT WATER, ( 60-80% SAVINGS IN ENERGY AND TIME);
THE FASTBOILER, BOILING ONE LITER OF WATER AND OIL IN LESS ONE ( 1) MINUTE USING VERY LOW WATTAGES ( SAVINGS IN TIME AND ENERGY-60-70%);
ABSGADGET ELECTRIC SHOWER HEATER. A SAFETY DEVICE THAT EVEN WITHOUT ELECTRIC GROUNDING , AND EVEN THE LIVE WIRE CONTACT THE WATER, THE SHOWER IS STILL BE USED 100% SAFEtY!
INCOMING APPARATUS ( THE 1073/1074 )
ADVANCE THAN 1071 1072, ARE NOW IN OUR SMALL LABORATORY FOR PEFECTIONS OF THE PROTOTYPE! THIS WILL AGAIN OUR CONTRIBUTIONS TO MANKIND FOR ANOTHER RENEWABLE ENERGY WHICH ARE ABUNDANT, THE AIR WE BREATHE, CONVERT INTO TORCH FLAME.

THERE ARE MANY APPLICATIONS OF THIS 1073/1074 APPARATUS ONCE PERFECTED IN TO EACH HIGH SPECIFICATIONS, STANDARDS, AND SAFETY FOR THE BENEFITS OF ALL FORMS OF LIFE AND THE CONVENIENCE AND SAFETY OF MANKIND AND OUR ENVIRONMENT!
WE ARE NOT SAYING WE ARE THE ONLY SOLUTIONS,
BUT WE ARE PART CONTRIBUTING LITTLE THINGS TO GET SOLUTIONS IN ENERGY CRISIS.
WE ARE WILLING TO COLLABORATE TO GREAT IDEAS LIKE YOU, TO FORM AN IMMEDIATE POWERFUL SOLUTIONS TO THE BIG THREAT OF GLOBAL WARMINGS FOR THE PROTECTIONS OF OUR ENVIRONMENT!
WE ARE PRAYING THAT ALL GREAT IDEAS WILL BE SUPPORTED NOT ONLY BY GE BUT ALL NATIONS, PHILANTROPISTS, BILLIONAIRES WITH GREAT RESOURCES TO MAKE ALL GREAT IDEAS A REALITY!
GOD BLESS AND BEST WISHES FOR YOUR GREAT IDEAS!

Its a good idea to place energy production around consumption areas, i.e. high population density areas. Vertical Axis Wind turbines (VAWTs) are indeed a good solution to capture the wind energy in high rise situations. Would that mean one "turbine" per building, what is the estimated power output?
High rise building situations would mean the available space for machinery is at a premium, correct? I am sure you must have though this through. Any further insight into how the the real estate dynamics would work out?

It would be more efficient to have more than one turbine per building, both in installation and maintenance costs. There is likely one edge of the building that sees more wind than the others on average, and several turbines will ilne the edge. I could not estimate the power output, and it depends on a variety of factors, most importantly building location and orientation. In most flat-topped, urban buildings, the roof houses HVAC and communications equipment, with plenty of adjascent space for the turbines to be installed and function correctly. Please let me know what you specifically mean by real estate dynamics, and I will try to elaborate further. Thank you for your input.

You have an excellent idea!
Best of luck for continued success.

I would like to know the abstract of your patent to understand your innovation as per your idea.
I was thinking, you have something like this - http://inhabitat.com/2007/11/26/super-powered-magnetic-wind-turbine-maglev/comment-page-1/
But your idea seems different.
Congratulations for being in the top GE 100. May we all benefit from your success. All the best to you.
